The Incumbent King County Chair, Lori Sotelo, has spearheaded the violation of National, State and County Republican Party Rules, Parliamentary procedure and, sometimes, Washington State Law for her 2 poltical objectives; gradually moving the Party Platform in the direction of the Democrat Party Platform and controlling the Republican nomination process in favor of the “chosen,” more liberal candidates of the Republican Pragmatic/Left Establishment.
Doug Parris, her 2012 opponent, has documented her career of violations since 2006.
In 2012 Lori Sotelo (using her power to appoint or remove more than 2/3 of the KCGOP Executive Board without cause) caused the violation of State and National Republican Rules more than 300 times by replicating illegal procedures in Legislative District after Legislative District.
Partial List of Sotelo Convention Rule Violations
All of these tactics are explicitly illegal under National and State Rules.
1. Sotelo refused to release the list of Precinct Committee Officers so at the precinct caucus level she could seat ineligible “automatic delegates” and
2. Stifle communication with delegates by campaigns.
3. The Sotelo administration kept legal participants out of precinct caucuses through false criteria.
4. The Sotelo administration ran caucuses with illegal voting schemes.
5. The Sotelo administration prohibited record-keeping of precinct and district caucuses “for privacy” (Because secret records can be falsified).
6. The Sotelo administration falsified the records of the caucuses.
7. Delegates legally-elected to caucuses and conventions did not receive the required (invitation) notice and call to those caucuses and conventions.
8. Delegates who showed up anyway were refused seating.
9. On the other hand, they seated numerous delegates who were not elected at all.
(We were able to prove all this, by the way, in many places where we thwarted their attempts to stop us from record-keeping.)
10. Sotelo subordinates serving in an election capacity continually violated their duty to impartiality to favor Romney.
Sotelo’s appointed Chairs in conventions and caucuses continually assumed illegitimate authority to:
11. suggest motions,
12. make motions,
13. support motions,
14. oppose motions,
15. impose rules,
16. impose procedures,
17. ignore motions,
18. call legal motions “out of order,” and
19. ignore or deny valid points of order.
20. Sotelo illegally imposed ostensibly electronic but unverifiable (EBU) vote counting procedures making ballot counting oversight impossible.
21. Sotelo’s administration used the EBU system to produce fraudulent election results. Including an alternate “elected” in Sotleo’s district caucus who was not on the ballot!
22. Sotelo through subordinates continually suppressed and denigrated speech as “wasting time.”
23. Sotelo through subordinates continually suppressed and denigrated attempts to acquire legal procedure as “disruption.”
24. Sotelo had to be literally forced to even hold the 37th legislative district caucus where she knew there was a majority that did not support her Presidential candidate.
25. Sotelo through subordinates repeatedly, unilaterally and without authority banned photo, video and audio recording devices.
26. The Sotelo administration continually asserted that caucuses and conventions were closed private meetings.
27. King County Chair Lori Sotelo threatened to eject an entire 37th legislative district caucus from their meeting place to coerce their vote on meeting chairman.
28. Sotelo ejected the entire 37th legislative district caucus from their meeting place when they didn’t vote the way the she wanted.
29. Sotelo and subordinate Officials repeatedly lied to Police officers to get them to enforce rules that did not exist.
30. The election results and records of whole caucuses that acted against the private preference of Sotelo were not transmitted to the State Party offices, but falsified.
31. Sotelo criminally colluded with State Party Chair Kirby Wilbur to prevent State Credentials Committee members from seeing submitted challenges to, and affidavits, evidence, and testimony exposing Party cheating at county and legislative district levels by making false representations to Tacoma Convention Center personnel and police to: eject Challenge Committee Chair Doug Parris, by threat, from the final Credentials committee meeting in Tacoma.
32. Sotelo criminally colluded with State Party Chair Kirby Wilbur, again, to prevent the State Convention from hearing or considering the evidence of their massive cheating by having Parris falsely arrested and ejected from the Tacoma Convention Center.
All of these tactics were blatant violations of existing rules. To cover it all up Sotelo engaged in Perjury before King County District Court. (Case #125-2561)
